  • Notice the angle in which it comes through your windows.

  • Notice the quality of the light: warm, cool, bright, muted, diffused.

  • Notice your mood as it relates to light.

  • Bonus: Take photographs of light; be creative.

Choose someone close to you:

  • Notice all the good things they do.

  • Notice small ways they're helpful or kind or strong or patient.

  • Notice the qualities you like about them.

In your journal (or on a blank piece of paper), write down all the things that went well last week. Reflect on moments of connection, satisfaction, beauty, ease, and kindness. Write down all these moments.

  • What stops you from having fun? Are these blockages internal or external?

  • How do you typically spend your free time? Are these activities fun?

  • Make a list of all the activities (from throughout your life!) that are fun. Take your time with this. After you’ve listed everything, pause and reflect a little more.

  • What’s one small step you can take this week to bring a fun activity into your life?
